PASSION PAINTING  TUESDAY NIGHTS 6-8pm at Spirit at Work Have you always wondered if you had the chance and a little guidance if you could create your own oil painting? Are you ready to find and unleash your inner artistic side? Come play with local artist Judy Jewel who has just returned from a 2 1/2 year spiritual and artistic quest in San Diego. She is an artist inspired by a personal sense of knowing that beautiful art can heal. Her passion for painting did not develop until she was in her mid-forties. Her own personal transformation was led by her art as her essence was revealed to her in her own paintings. "I could feel this fire of burning desire within me but at the time I was not conscious enough to live it in my own life but I was compelled to let it flow out of me onto the canvas". "It was as if I could paint the intensity I desired in my own life even though I was too afraid to feel my true power at that time." Over the last 10 years she has transformed from a quiet, reserved and emotionally shut down woman into a confident vibrant artist who embraces and celebrates her own power and lives life with passion. "I feel so alive when I create and I want to inspire that feeling in others!" Come and explore your own creative side with a painting lesson with Judy. Even if you have never painted anything she can guide you through a simple four step process. And if you have painted before, come learn the techniques that will give your painting depth and clarity. All you need to bring is a 9" x 12" canvas that can be purchased at any art supply store. Lesson and All other supplies will be provided for only $35. : The word Homeopathy is derived from the Greek homoios for similars and pathos for suffering. Homeopathy is considered by some to be the most effective form of natural medicine developed in the last 200 years. Discovered in the late 1700's by a German physician, chemist and medical translator named Samuel Hahnemann, homeopathy has since been practiced throughout the world. Homeopathy is based on the theory that what can produce a picture of dis-ease in an otherwise healthy individual, cures a similar picture of dis-ease in a sick person who has similar symptoms. This is known as the law of similars, "like cures like." Homeopathic remedies consist of administering tiny doses (which in larger doses would create the same symptoms as those ailment being expressed), of energy extracted from natural substances to stimulate a person's inherent curative powers.
