      For beginners and experienced students alike, Svaroopa® Yoga specializes in releasing spinal tension, which can lead to deep transformation in the body, the mind, and more. Classes focus on deep, supported poses to open spinal muscles.  As an approach to transformation, this yoga style grows from the premise that, while each of us is already perfect, blockages, particularly in the spine, prevent us from experiencing our natural state of health and vitality.  Marlene will provide the blankets.

        Marlene Gast as been practicing yoga since 1978 and teaching since 1987. Her great passion for helping yoga students from all walks of life transform and grow through the practice of yoga shines through in her warm and meticulous teaching style. Marlene is a Certified Professional level Kripalu Yoga Teacher and is certified in Yoga of the Heart by Nischala Joy Devi, as well.  Marlene is currently engaged in ongoing formal training in Svaroopa® Yoga.  Developed by Rama Berch, this yoga style is reliable for healing and transformation, and ultimately opens practitioners to the illumination promised by the ancient texts. She is also certified in Embodyment® Yoga Therapy, a related hands-on alternative approach to healing. Embodyment® is offered in private sessions. Marlene currently teaches in at Yoga for Wellness, LLC, and also out of her home studio.

If you would like a reading, please pay at Spirit at Work for the length of reading you desire or call 388-3884 for credit card payments. The bookstore will then give Maridel your birth date, time and place of birth with your phone number OR, if you prefer, will just give your phone number or e-mail to Maridel. Either way, Maridel will contact each person to double check their information and get their address.

 

Maridel will do the reading at her home where it is quiet. She will tape it and send it to you. The tape will be 30 minutes, one hour, or two hours depending on what you have ordered. This cost includes all behind-the-scenes time, as well as time the time she speaks with you by phone or e-mail, should you have any questions after you receive your reading.
